We’re happy to say the Fall program schedule is near completion and we have begun posting events on our Programs page as well as our Facebook page. We have several new series’ on tap for this fall, including the continuation and completion of our “Philadelphia Squared” Lecture Series with presentations on the development of Rittenhouse Sqaure, Logan Square (Circle), and Penn Square/City Hall. We are also launching our new flagship program, “The Commonwealth Series”, with lectures by David McFadden (October), Chief Curator of the Museum of Art and Design; Internationally renowned German jewelry artist Svenja John (November); and current PAA exhibitor Candy Depew (December). In addition to these lecture series’, PAA will host several book signings and readings with local authors Lynn Miller, Jim Zervanos, and James McClelland. And for the music lovers, our favorite string quartet, Liebesfreud, returns for their wildly popular “Last Friday” recitals in September, October, and November; and our continued partnership with Ars Nova Workshop will bring the finest in experimental and modern Jazz to PAA throghout the year.
