Klara Borbas recently transferred her activity and aesthetics from functional ceramics into the smaller scale of ceramic jewelry. Designing with new challenges of functionality, Borbas creates pieces that are light-weight, comfortable, and work well on the body. Her work is minimalist; following the “less is more” rule.
Her designs are based on contrasts; hard and soft, rough and refined, black and white, full shape and delicate lines. Her pieces are simple and basic, yet sophisticated. Each piece is individually formed and decorated.
